A new report by the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities shows that New Jersey has reduced higher education funding by 23.2 percent – or $2,281 per student – since 2008. According to the report, “Funding Down, Tuition Up,” New Jersey is one of only 11 states that cut higher education in 2015-16.
